Rooted in Purpose
Phoenix House is Canada’s first home to pursue Zero Carbon certification from the Living Future Institute—a collaboration between Best Builders, Nick Bray Architecture, and Carbon Wise. Rising from the loss of a family home, it sets a bold new standard for resilient, sustainable living.
Launching eight years ahead of BC’s 2032 low-carbon mandate, this project proves that ambitious climate goals are achievable on a practical budget. Set to complete in mid-2025, Phoenix House will share its journey openly—from pioneering materials to expert insights—to inspire a low-carbon future. Join us in shaping what comes next.
At Phoenix House, we provide a safe, supportive environment for individuals on their journey of recovery from substance use. As a long-standing non-profit residential program, we are committed to helping residents build a healthy, meaningful life—free from addiction. Our evidence-based approach, experienced staff, and strong sense of community empower lasting change, resilience, and personal growth. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or a loved one, we’re here to walk beside you—every step of the way.
